Sunrise Beach Units Part of Task Force Assignment for Tornado Response

E 12-21 and FM 1205 responded as part of a rescue task force to Buffalo Missouri on 29 February.  Units were alerted at 0116 hours and responded to the Mid County Fire Protection District Headquarters.  From there, the units under the command of Chief Frandsen, traveled to Lebanon, Missouri. With their services not needed in Lebanon, the task force was redeployed to Buffalo.  On arrival, the task force was assigned to search & rescue operations in a trailer park that sustained extensive damage.   After approximately 6 hours the units determined that no other victims were found and the resources returned to Sunrise Beach.

1205 with FM Northcott

Once again our dedicated volunteers responded to maintain District coverage, and 2 of our off-duty members returned to provide additional staffing if needed.
